Deaf Boomers has added two strong resources in their pursuit of Senior Housing for the Deaf in the Washington DC area - Clark Construction and WDG Architecture. Clark is currently ranked the eleventh largest general contractor in the nation with an annual volume in excess of $4 billion. |

Deaf Boomers has partnered with The Kemper Company, a management and housing specialist for the elderly with special needs. Kemper has built specialized facilities and programs for persons with Alzheimer’s disease, and are excited about branching into the specialized retirement services for the Deaf and hard of hearing. Deaf Boomers shares their commitment to high quality health care services and welcomes The Kemper Company to the team.

| Joined by his brothers, Glen and Herb, Bert Sutcliffe founded the organization, Deaf Boomers, to harness the tremendous demand for deaf senior housing. As children of deaf parents, they have witnessed the frustration over previous failed attempts to build a deaf retirement community in the Washington DC – Baltimore metro area.
